Crashed Ukrainian An-24 identified
Ukrainian emergency situations ministry images from the scene of the South Airlines Antonov An-24 crash in Donetsk have identified the aircraft involved as a 40-year old airframe.
The ministry says 52 people, including eight crew members, were on board the aircraft (UR-WRA) when it crashed while landing after an internal flight.
American and US Airways to merge
American Airlines and US Airways have announced plans to merge in an $11 billion deal that will create the largest airline in the world.
